In the 1820s, a Bedouin started a camel back expedition from Rub al Khali to Musandam. When he fell sick on his journey, somewhere in Al Qudra desert, he dug and hidden two treasure boxes to be passed on to his daughter and two sons. After the father’s demise, the daughter and two sons tried for years to look for these treasure boxes, but were unable to find this treasure location. A teepee is the most well known movable home. It provides ample room and doesn't get blown away by strong winds. The greatest part about a teepee is that you can burn a fire inside of it because it is self-ventilating. Duration: 30-40minutes
A twenty-metre length of rope is laid on the ground. The middle of the rope is marked with a piece of coloured tape. Two teams pick up the rope from opposing sides and prepare to pull the centre marker on the rope to the two-metre marker nearest to them. Duration: 20-30 minutes
After some warm up for the group to get to know each other, we will start with our first activity. Water balloon volleyball!
A length of rope is given to the blindfolded team. The team has then to unravel the rope and to form a perfect square with one team member on each corner and one team member exactly half way between the corners, on each side.
A very jumbled and twisted loop of rope is laid on the ground. They must now unravel the rope so that is again a continuous loop, but they cannot take their hands off the rope for any reason.
This is a puzzle. It is a square that has had the middle removed. The pieces are mixed up and the square must then be assembled correctly.
A scavenger hunt is a game in which the organizers prepare a list defining specific items, using the participants seek to gather all items on the list perform tasks or take photographs of the items, as specified.
